About us

Omnium Gatherum was originally formed in 2001 to sing the Byrd four-part mass and other early church music purely for pleasure. A few recitals were put on in those early days but for a variety of reasons the group broke up. In 2013 the group reformed, this time with a wider singing remit and new members. Four of the original members from 2001 are still singing with the choir.

Since 2013, the choir have put on a number of concerts locally and have also performed at a wedding. The aim has always been to enjoy the music first and to share the efforts of our practice with an audience from time to time.
